There are three ways to help …
By volunteering
We are currently sending teams of four volunteer therapists to Sarajevo for two week periods. Therapists are asked to provide proof of their
professional qualifications and insurance, and attend a training workshop before being considered for overseas duty.

The work was tremendously rewarding. I learnt so much from the clients and remain humble in the light of their personal courage and endurance.
I am so pleased and happy that I was able to go back to Sarajevo, not least because I was able to see the results on the clients. So many of them looked so much better and it is great to know that we are working to such good effect.

In this village the women all sit under the shade trees, some are wondering if any of their men are still alive. After the war many men are "Missing" and the not knowing is almost worse than those who have been able to bury their husbands and sons. This is exactly the type of situation where Healing Hands can help ease their suffering.
